Wednesday Night Activities beginning May 14 will be a very simple Simple Supper at 6 p.m. followed by classes for all ages with Reverend Montgomery teaching a class on Galatians for the adults.  These activities will continue through the summer with a special activity each month such as a cookout, a fish fry and a picnic.

Pictures for the new Church Directory will be made October 1-4.

Relay for Life is selling Finger Key Finders for $7 and luminaries for the June 14 Relay as well as the Tiki Torch, which is a torch and engraved plaque for the honored person to keep after the 6/14 Relay.  The Tiki Torches are $100.

Graduating high school seniors will be honored during the May 18 Worship Service.  They are Colleen Carnes, Jessica Costello, Brandt Smith and Jordan Wheeler.

Marcia Hutto and Linda Rogers, Chair, Spiritual Care Ministry Unit, met at Richland High School on November 1, 2007 to present First Presbyterian Church's annual $500 contribution to the school system.  Marcia and Randy have a daughter, Courtney, who is a Junior at Richland, and a son, Corey, who is a fifth grader at the middle school there.  In the photo below Marcia is presenting the check to Richland High School principal Bobbi McMasters, who said the money will be used for gifts for the students in an incentive program (called 3R Program) to reward positive behavior.  Baby Nathan Hutto is also in the photo.
