. . . PRAYER OF CONFESSION. . .
O Lord, our sins are many, but we hear y our words that our worst sins are always found in our failure to love. We want to be loved--by you and by others. But when it comes time to love others as a way of showing our love to you, we get nervous and can quickly talk ourselves out of trying. We are afraid of problems we can't solve, needs we can't meet and finding ourselves asked to give and share in ways that challenge our faith. Have mercy on us, Lord, and grant us the reassurance and the courage to know that nothing in heaven or earth can separate us, or the people around us, from your love for us all in Jesus Christ. Amen
* If you have a prayer request please call the Church Office at 363-2554, or send it by e-mail to Barbara Puryear or Erlene Roller.
