Sunday School at FPC

Presbyterian Women are resuming their meetings.  The Presbyterian Women morning circle will meet September 13 at 10 am in the church library.  The study is "Journeys Through Revelation Apocalyptic Hope for Toady."  The Presbyterian Women evening Bible study will be September 14 with a meal at 6 pm at the home of Janice Newton.  Bible Study begins at 7 pm.  The study is 'Living Above Worry and Stress' from the Women of Faith Series.

The Wednesday Night Adult Class is studying Prayer.  The class is being taught by Rev. Robert Montgomery.  It begins at 6:30 pm, immediately following the Simple Supper, and meets in the Margaret Butler Library.

Opening Assembly Leaders for September, 2010:  5th - Teresa Burns,  12th - Charlotte Hughes, 19th - Shelly Goolsby, 26th - Flora Smith.

 

Sunday School Classes:  Fall Quarter begins September 5.

The Nursery Sunday School class offers the youngest children (birth to 4 years old) the opportunity to experience God's love through stories, songs and play together. Topic for study is "We Belong to God."

Preschool through 2nd grade class uses the "We Belong to God" series. This class is taught by Crystal Howard.

The 3rd-5th grade class is studying "Messengers of God."  Emma Montgomery is the teacher.

The Jr./Sr. High Class is continuing the Faith Questions series connecting faith questions from Presbyterian Youth with questions from The Study Catechism:  Confirmation Version.  This class is led by Teresa Burns/Kenny Newton.

The adult 101 Class is discussing a video series titled 'Christianity's Family Tree' (what other Christians believe and why).

The Seekers Class is studying the Book of Acts.  This class meets in the Margaret Butler Library.

The Keystone Class:  The Inescapable God.  It is a Present Word study.  The Keystone Class meets in Stacy Chapel.  This class is being taught by Marvin and Karen Barnett.

Wednesday Night Supper September, 2010:  1st - Christian Ed (chicken fingers), 8th - Seekers (BBQ), 15th - PYF Spaghetti Supper, 22nd - Building & Grounds (Pizza), 29th - ASFMU (BBQ)
